I cannot decide to go with the nipples or with extra peaches. I like both! Which one do I choose? Somebody help me make a decision!

dj100proof - BBQ vol 5
The BBQ returns!! Too bad the summer has not! I've been waiting for a real decent day to blog this. A day in which you are sitting back on a (p)rooftop looking out over a gorgeous view of the Emerald City. Your lady in short shorts sits on your arm, margarita in hand extra salted rim, of course. Friends slowly join your backyard and dead animals that have been marinating for days get thrown toward a scorching bed of red, crisp, pillowy coals. It's just another day in the neighborhood in this glorious time of year we call summer. Hundy definitely plays it up on this mix and my only complaint is I wish he had more Proof edits. DOWNLOAD HERE

New mixtape from the NYC family. Lots of different sounds on this album which all blow up together to make one big rowdy party. Good to see these guys deal with bullshit and stay strong all the while making new shit. DOWNLOAD HERE
Love Is A Business
The Physics are coming back August 6th with a new album. And so far from what I've heard it sounds great. "Red Eye" is my shit!! Thig is one of my favorites in the town and all three are just some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Check them at The Crocodile for their album release show. More info on that HERE.

LexiconDon - Student Body
My homie Lex is up from LA and playing at Nectar tonight, so go show him some love as he continues his tour. You might know them best for their remix of "I Want Your Blood". Here's official video from him for the song "Student Body".

WINGS
Macklemore just released his new video for "Wings" on XXL today. Was a long time in the making, but glad they took the time to finish their vision. I truly don't think I've ever loved a sneaker, shoe, or any piece of clothing as much as some people love their Jordans. It boggles my mind that you can spend $200 on a pair of sneakers.

That boy Mar's first release on Discobelle just dropped and damn. NASTY Banger. Coming off Neoteric's second compilation for the digital label entilted, 'Turned Up Vol 2'. The highlight of the pack is of course Mar's 5 a.m. automatic lazer gun assault know as 'Had To Move On'. Picture a massive rave, you dont know what time it is and your three pills to the wind. This is the tune you wanna hear. Take your ass to Beatport or Itunes and support this man!

Stealing Space Needle
Guerrilla Candy put this together while we were at Sasquatch. And I must agree Trent Moorman is hilariously annoying in interviews.
Mad Rad performs July 24 on the Neumos stage at Capitol Hill Block Party for the festival’s closing party along with Metal Chocolates, Darwin, Beat Connection and Mash Hall. The party starts at 11:30 and is 21+. You can buy CHBP tickets HERE.

Ridiculous Pool
"The D*Face spray paint skateboard interface. What better way to paint the pool then letting everyone get involved? With high-tech remotely controlled spray can apparatus mounted to the underside of skateboards...every line a skater took became the paint job of the pool. The year of planning is because of the complexity of making the tech remote control spray can apparatus."

The Graff Mobile
Everfresh Studio put this together to give you everything you can possibly think of needing when you are out on those streets. They have done this so well and I would love to see this coming down the street and pull up next to the Graffiti Removal guy's green and white pick up truck.

Douster 'CARAJO!
Back in early 2009, i was living in Buenos Aires when my homeboy Federico (arcade) gave me that sort of argentinian party break. It was basically some old dude yellin things like "toda la manitos en el aire" and other party tings . I did a whole track around the CARAJO! sample in a kinda bassline meets kuduro vibe. It was quite a hit back then and since i never did anything with it, i wanted to share it with y'all !

GRYNCH - "All I Wanna Do" Ft. Sol Music Video
Shot this video for Grynch and Sol a couple months back, just got it edited finally. The song is the jam, I just tried to match the tone of the song with some decent visuals. Good summertime party vibe. Take a sip, take a puff, sit back, enjoy.

Jam City "Waterworx EP"
Twenty year old London based producer Jack Latham, or better know to the world as Jam City just dropped his long awaited second EP on Night Slugs this week. Coming of the strength of his last outing for the label on his 'Magic Drops' EP, this release is no less amazing. Aqua Box' is in the title: imagine a pumping Chicago box jam torpedoed down to the ocean floor and souped up with some South London subs and you're in business. 'Countess' is the kind of grime influenced house at which JC so excels; militant, broken drum syncopations, stop-start electro arpeggios to bone-crushing effect. Island' has been knocking around on dubplate for the best part of two years; butch 808 drums jolting and jabbing around airy, just killer. 'Barely A Trak' takes the formula of combining UKF syncopations and bending Moomin synths, but caresses it into something properly unique with the help of some nifty edits and an 'ardkore-style vocal loop. 'Waterfalls' gestures towards Chicago again, with its Virgo-esque tom hits and starlit synths, but breaks down into something altogether more mutant and LDN-flavoured. Peep it down below. Standard.

Frida Chanel
First off, congratulations to Ashley Chanel for having her baby boy. She is the model in this picture taken by the ever so lovely and even more so talented Mary Kalhor. She had this vision for a while now to shoot Ashley as Frida, and I think the execution went real well. To see the rest, CLICK HERE.

Lifepartner 'Ecstasy Riddim'
Can't remember where I stumbled onto Portland based Lifepartner's 'Ecstasy Riddim', but its been in everyone of my sets as of late. Moombahtoning Jam City's 'Ecstasy' Refix, which updates the 1983 rare funk single by the Endgames out of the UK, giving it a fresh update. Dont hate the Sissy Nobby sample either. Take ya persons over to his Soundcloud page to hear some other bits. Refix and original also down below. Take some pillz and vibe out bra.

Nguzunguzu's 'Times Up' EP
A while back I posted L.A. based producers Nguzunguzu's mixtape 'The Perfect Lullabye'. I must have listened that mix at least thirty times by now and it still isn't getting worn out. Pure class. Stream the new EP down below and DL their new mixtape they've crafted for XLR8R to celebrate the release. Boom Ditty.

Captain Blacks 2 Years at Sea
It's another glorious afternoon on The Hill and you simply need a place to relax without all the added bullshit. A bartender pours you an exaggerated shot of whiskey and cracks open a canned Hamm's. Consume. Have another. A piece of chicken is battered and propelled into a deep fryer as the air in the room fills with a rich maple aroma. Your lips smack together as Iggy and The Stooges "Search and Destroy" blares through the speaker. It is at perfect volume. Just loud enough to talk close to your lady, but not too loud to distract you from the playoff game.
Everything is perfect. But, no really, everything is perfect for everyone. The differences and similarities of patrons are all somehow embraced. It's one big happy family and the interior of the ship is where we sit. Our livers work tirelessly together to keep the boat afloat. The sea captain enters, sheds off his silver aviators and hands you a shot of good tequila. Follows it up with whiskey and gravy. You warm up with genuine camaraderie as another birthday is celebrated spinning your head around that sweet 7 inch of classic soul music. Some poor life choices are definitely among us and they are going to be some of the best decisions we've ever made.
Thank you, Captain Blacks. Cheers to many more!

Shaprece - Scatterbrain
Shaprece is dropping her EP tomorrow night. You can listen to it now, but you gotta buy it and support our homegirl. She has put it in so much work, she's been on team since day one, and I personally couldn't be happier for her. We celebrate tomorrow night at The Crocodile with Fresh Espresso.
