Old Movie Posters

I love these re-imagined movie posters of today with the look of the past designed by Peter Stults. I also think the casting done for these film posters is pretty close to perfect and wouldn't mind watching these movies with these actors.

Words as Images

Damn I love these! Graphic designer Ji Lee has put together some fine illustrations of using letters to explain meanings of the words. These are brilliant. I'm jealous.. back to the drawing board. MORE HERE

Dancing Posters

French artist Niege Borges has been putting together these visually striking works over the last few weeks documenting some of the best dance moments in cinematic history. I am jealous, I wish I made these. MORE HERE

"In 1518, a bunch of people from a french town called Stransbourg were affected by something called dancing mania. It began with one lady named Frau Troffea dancing in the street and end up with, more or less, 400 people dancing on for days without rest, resulting in some deaths of heart attack, stroke and exhaustion. This project is, in some sort of way, a memorial for Frau Toffea. From the silliest little dance to the most elaborate dance sequence of the history of cinema, there were a lot of dancing in the last decades (not enough to kill anyone, I hope). Here are some of these dances."

Oil Spill Posters

Notankers is a non-profit organization dedicated to banning oil tankers from Canada's Pacific North Coast. To raise awareness for the cause, they printed posters using an environmentally friendly, water-soluble ink and placed them around Vancouver, BC, Canada. When it rained, the posters served as a reminder that oil spills affect everyone - driving people to notankers.ca to take action

Paper Record Player

"This is a wedding invitation for my friends Karen and Mike. We created a paper record player to house + play a flexi disc pressed with their original song, inviting guests to the wedding." More info on Kelli Anderson's blog.

Audio engineering company GGRP Sound sent a 45rpm record in a corrugated cardboard sleeve that doubles as a record player. You can put it together one single step. Oh man.. Mad Rad vinyl coming soon!

Stimulus Package Packaging

This shit is dope and very creative. Freeway & Jake One went all out with this package: 4 Freeway Bills, 4 Jake One Bills, with lyrics and liner notes on the backsides, a wallet to stuff them into, plus a download card with the Instrumentals. This unique package was put together by Hip-hop's Iconic Designer, Brent Rollins.
