Dj Soulja Man 'Eski-Tech'

Photobucket

Another large release from my L.A. bros Samo Soundboy & Jerome (LOL Boys) label Body High. This one comes in the form of the mystrioues Dj Soulja Man.'Eski-Tech' brings the cold burn with gunshot-peppered rhythms, weaving elements of Wiley's finest into a twisted swingjack flow. DJ Dodger Stadium backs him up with a rudest Dance Mania style on the 'Stadium' remix, and PDX's Massacooramaan's, formally know as Dave Quam,'No Pulse No Heartbeat' configures some crazy, hollowed out fusion of Soca, Footwork and Grime. Than they go and release a free remix of said tune by Bellingham badman Cedaa and another joint by Soulja Man. Get active on it.

Lean House

Photobucket

Them Paris marauders are at it again, new french dj/producer Boston Bun is onto something with his robotussin infused lean house movement. Together with dancefloor aficionado Brodinski he’s started screwing and sometimes chopping up house classics etc. at 108 bpm and the result is remarkable. Be sure to bookmark the lean house Tumblr and Soundcloud pages where you’ll find an lean edit for download every week.

So here is the Boston Bun “Lean House Mixtape” filled to the brink with slo-mo house edits from an all-star team ranging from LOL Boys to Surkin, an exclusive edit from Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team and also the Boston Bun remix of recently released track “Javier” from Club Cheval member Myd.

“Do we really need to explain why we screw and chop our favorite house tracks? This is a dedication to H-Town, from Paris with love, RIP DJ SCREW. HOUSIZZURP, SLOW MO ON THE DANCEFLOOR”

LOL Boys @ Baltic Room Feb. 2nd

Photobucket

If you dont know already, February 2nd at the Baltic Room will be showcasing the cream of the crop of west coast, future bass pioneers. Over the next two weeks ill drop a lil' info on each artist playing and give ya free tune from them for ya'll to vibe out with.

First up to bat, LOL Boys from Los Angles / Montreal

LOL Boys might be the humans Markus G. from Montreal and Jerome P. from Los Angeles, or they might intricately constructed androids conceived on the internet. Along with a growing number of new school producers that are encroaching on uncharted sounds in today's dance music scene: a fair bit of latin beats, a lot of house, and an inability to name exactly what it all might be. These two producers hold down nights in their respective homes, bringing innovative artists through Footworkin' in Montreal and Mega in L.A. Though they are across the continent, LOL Boys have done a variety of remixes over the past year for acts such as Hot City, Crystal Fighters, Para One, Bambounou, and Samo Sound Boy. Their debut, "123," on Palms Out Sounds has been supported by a number of today's "tastemaker" DJs, and it's no surprise that buzz is building about their forthcoming releases on Palms Out Sounds, Discobelle Recods, and Cool Records/Mad Decent.
