MSHVB "Gone Again"

A gorgeous vibrantly colored short film by Mt. St. Helen's Vietnam Band returning from a brief hiatus. This video based on their last album "Where The Messengers Meet" was shot in the Olympic Mountains and includes the songs Gone Again and Cadence. The visuals alone are striking and epic. The smooth crooning of Benjamin Verdoes keep your eyes and mind focused on all the subtleties. I want this to be a full length film! The band has been recording their new album which I am overly excited for and are playing a show April 5th at Neumos.

Mr. Seventh Heaven himself had this to say:

"Tristan did a fantastic job of bringing the characters from the story to life. We met several times and discussed the narrative. I gave him sections, timelines, and diagrams to sift through. He chose a scene that he wanted to interpret, and then spent an incredible amount of time and effort making what is essentially a short film depicting a pivotal moment in the Where the Messengers Meet tale. He cast actors, scouted the entire Olympic Peninsula region searching for the perfect shooting locations from the Northwest Raptor Center in Sequim to the Hoh Rainforest Trust west of Forks. The majority of the cast involved were non-actors from Port Angeles who were excited to get behind his ambitious vision and after a soaking wet three-day expedition, the project was completed. Hopefully, we will work together to fill out other scenes from the story in the near future."
