Both Michigan natives, the duo split the recording of the album between Seattle and P Smoov’s old hometown of Niles, Michigan, and both their current and former homes play a prominent role in the album’s songs of hard times, temptation and triumphs. Fresh Espresso's New Album "Bossalona" will be out June 5th!!! The hard copies of the album will also be available in advance at Sasquatch Music Festival. So if you have a ticket make sure you pick yourself up a copy!

This album has taken a lot of hard work. Half the album was recorded in downtown Seattle and the other Half was recorded in Niles Michigan overlooking the Saint Joseph river and nature galore. It's a triumphant, fun, sexy, epic record, but I think my father said it best when he noted that "It has a sub-plot telling of a struggle between self and celebrity." I think pops is right.

Anyway, mark your calendars cuase Bossalona is coming soon!

Fresh Espresso - Hush

Fresh Espresso is back!



P Smoov and Rik Rude are at it again with the release of their first single "Hush" from their upcoming full length LP "Bossalona".

Hush is a sonic victory lap. It's an anthem for the big dreamers and the tenacious underdogs of the world. With a beat to knock your teeth out and battle cry lyrics "Hush" has Fresh Espresso soaring to new heights. "It's not a wish if it's happening."

Their new LP "Bossalona" is due out on Out For Stardom records this summer.

Drink Fresh Espresso

I made a drink inspired by Rik & P and it was featured in Seattle Weekly today. When I hear Rik say 'Coffee in my cup, it wakes me up on a rainy day,' I don't necessarily think about an actual caffeine drink. Alcohol is the stimulant here. Coffee liqueur was where I wanted to start, and end with a 'Smoov' finish. Putting it in the martini adds to the glamour that these two represent. Come see me tonight at Moe Bar for The HUMP and I'll gladly make it for ya!



Drink: Fresh Espresso
1 oz. Kahlua
1 oz. Frangelico
1 oz. cream
Shake the shit out of it. Add float of Chambord. Serve in martini glass.

Happy to see the whole team going this year! Congrats are in order to Fresh Espresso, Metal Chocolates, Katie Kate, & Don't Talk To The Cops!. It is truly going to be a monumental weekend. Seriously though, this is the "un-mixed, un-mastered, and un-finished rough draft project I started and forgot about." and i think its a good listen so here it is almost 2 years later in its original form for ya'll to enjoy."

Fresh Espresso - The Lazerbeams Live in Bellingham

The homies at Buildstrong just dropped this video from when we played The Wild Buffalo in Bellingham on Feb. 4th with Mash Hall.

Bellingham is like Disneyland for me. I love it there. The kids know how to kick it tough, and the staff at The Wild Buffalo are more hospitable than your grandma at thanksgiving.
