Listen to it. Buy it. Download it. It's the new new coming out of The Cloud and it is well worth every listen. I was blessed enough to catch their first show in Alaska during Home Skillet Fest. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see the four doing all types of shit I hadn't seen them do before, playing different drum machines, synthesizers, and utilizing talk boxes. This album puts me in a dream state that I don't want to ever come down from.

Jarv Dee - Dopamine

One of my favorite rappers as of late, Jarv Dee, dropped his smoke filled debut album on 4/20 on Cloud Nice. Sit back, roll one up and enjoy. His release show is May 18th @ Chop Suey.

Kingdom Crumbs - For The Birds

Second song released from the Kingdom Crumbs project which embraces all of the Cloud Nice into one big music family. On "For The Birds" you can hear the versatility of Jarv singing the hooks and the overall brilliance of Tay on production and verses. Jarv Dee - I Just Wanna

I have fucking loved this song for the past year or so and it's about damn time I see some visuals to it. Jarv Dee is one of my favorites and he brings a charming attitude to the game with a voice that is sure to make you listen to him. Glad to see him doing so well.. big ups Cloud Nice! Stephan Gray did a fabulous job capturing him in his candid moments of smoking blunts, driving, smoking blunts, recording, smoking blunts, and of course smoking blunts. Good work gents.

Nacho Picasso - For The Glory

After a string of enticing videos, Nacho Picasso (BAYB/Moor Gang) drops his anticipated For the Glory, a portal into Nacho’s dark side.

Without straying too far from his punchline-filled cadence or hard-on-a-bitch philosophy, Nacho delves into heavier topics that are at times depressing, but always with flashes of an iced-out grin in between, a reminder of that lighthearted cleverness we love Nacho for.

Nacho opens with “Bad Guy”, stating his lack of moral responsibility, rubbing it in even harder on “Burn Bridges,” admitting that his evildoing comes at the cost of his relationships: “I burn bridges/ I trade all my friends for ends, I’m so frigid…” He also has something for special interest groups: “Sweaters” for the inkheads, “Marvel” appealing to stoners and comicon nerds alike.

Part Gothic, part mythical, the entire album has a cohesive sound, produced entirely by Blue Sky Black Death and Raised by Wolves, with the exception of a single track produced by long-time collaborator and now 1/7 of 9th Wonder’s Soul Council, Eric G.

Cloud Nice Goes to Hollywood

A nice little video delving into the minds and personalities of the Cloud Nice clique. Looks like they had a blast, and I can only imagine what they cut from this video.

"In September 2010, we made a journey down to LA for Helladope’s appearance on the Sneakerpimps tour, opening for Travis Barker and The Cool Kids. Most of the clique came, and we went super ham for the couple of days we were there. Mikey Nice brought his Flipcam along to document the trip, so we have the opportunity to share with you some of the highlights of our trip."

Tay Sean: "One of the things I really like about this track is that you get a sense of Jarv’s genuine frustration with day-to-day bullshit, be it the stresses of paying child support or fighting a drug case. But at the same time the song isn’t really about the grief as much as it is about just chillin in the whip, blastin your favorite shit, maybe with a chance of mild intoxication."

10.4 Rog: "I first heard the original live. Jarv performed it at the Columbia City Theater grand reopening in Seattle with a backing band. For me, it was the hook that stood out. It came off effortlessly, like an anthem, and after the show I could hear it in my head over and over again. Some time after I had met Jarv, I asked for his permission to try tackling my own version. When I was finished, it sounded to me as if it took place at a different time of day compared to the original."
